Senator Chris Van Hollen Fires Up Glynn County Volunteers
The Glynn County Democrats welcomed a special guest to our Brunswick headquarters on October 27th: The senior U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen of Maryland. He stopped by to rally our volunteers before they headed out for a day of door-knocking.
Many canvassers packed the office as the Senator thanked them for their work. He reminded everyone that elections are won in neighborhoods, one conversation at a time. He talked about the importance of every vote and said the work happening in coastal Georgia matters well beyond our county line.
After posing for photos and greeting volunteers, Senator Van Hollen sent the teams off with their walk lists. By the end of the day, volunteers had knocked on hundreds doors across Districts 4 and 5.
